query: BIR Training Center is looking for ESL tutors for both our Belmont and Loop campuses. A candidate who could work at both locations would be highly desired.

Belmont Tutor:

Native English speaking applicants are preferred, but a bilingual English/Polish candidate with excellent English skills and teaching experience will also be considered.

Hours: Approx. 15 – 35 hours depending on student needs, must be available to work some evening and weekend hours.

Loop Tutor:

Only native English speaking candidates will be considered.

Hours: Approx. 10 – 20 hours

For both locations, Someone with or working on a MA in Linguistics, TESOL or a related field is preferred. Experience tutoring or teaching is a big plus!!! Reliable means of transportation and flexibility about hours and location is also a plus. (In the future, we may also have some hours open up at our Devon location, 3601, W. Responsibilities: Upon hire, the candidate will not only tutor students, but also help maintain our ESL library/resource center, and Testing Center, so we are looking for someone who is personable, organized and adept at managing multiple tasks.

Salary: $12 – 14/hr depending on qualifications.
