   Position: Part-time ESL Instructor

Overview

BIR Training Center is seeking qualified and experienced ESL instructors for the Fall 1 Term, which begins August 24, 2009.  BIR Training Center offers English language classes at its Devon, Belmont, and Loop campuses.  Instructors would teach English classes which focus on speaking and listening, reading, writing, or test preparation.  We are looking for instructors who would be able to teach weekday, evening, and weekend classes.      

Qualifications:

           B.A., M.A., or Ph.D. in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, English, or a related field (in lieu of a relevant degree, a TESOL certificate will suffice).  

           At least two years of experience teaching English to adult learners. 

           An ability to use technology in the classroom.
