POSITION: Full-Time ESL

City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) is seeking full time faculty beginning the Fall 09 semester. Qualified candidates must have at least a Master’s Degree in Linguistics/TESOL and a minimum two years of experience teaching English as a Second Language for academic purposes in higher education in the United States. Candidates must possess demonstrated excellence in teaching, commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process and the ability to inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed.

• Alternative assessment

• Evolving technologies in language learning

• Current teaching methods

• Foreign language teaching

The position is available at Harold Washington College and may require day, evening and/or weekend working hours.
