ESL Instructors

Intrax International Institute, a member of Intrax Cultural Exchange, provides English training and academic services to local and international students. We have campuses in Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, and Vancouver BC.

Our Chicago Center is one of the largest ESL schools in the downtown Chicago area. The student body encompasses adult students from all over the world. Our staff and faculty team is professional, dynamic, and creative!

We are currently interviewing to recruit ESL teachers. Our Chicago campus is located at 174 N. Michigan Ave. in downtown Chicago.

Academic Program Information:

Our core classes are held Monday through Thursday and teaching schedules are as follows:

Morning: 9.00 AM – 1.30 PM and/or 2:00 – 3:30 PM

Evening: 4.30 – 9:00 PM

Classes run 45 – 90 minutes long, with short breaks in between.

Interested candidates should:

• Have an energetic and positive classroom presence.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree and MATESOL or TEFL/TESOL qualification.*

• Have at least 2 years’ professional teaching experience in the ESL industry.

• Be culturally sensitive and able to teach to an international student population.

• Make learning meaningful, creative, and fun. Our priority is the student experience!

• Be organized and display a high level of professionalism.

* The TEFL/TESOL qualification will be waived if the candidate is enrolled in an MATESOL program.

As part of the interview process, candidates will teach a ½ - 1 hour demonstration lesson.
