English instructors are urgently needed for a franchise of Joy English, a well-established (twenty year old)Taiwanese company, with almost 100 schools operating in China. The name of the city where the current openings are is Jiamusi in Heilongjiang province. This particular school is 4 years old. 560 students with 29 Chinese teachers and 3 foreign teachers. Instructors who are creative, passionate, and innovative in classrooms in teaching English are preferred. Instructors’ performance is subject to frequent observation by parents and school administrators.
Remuneration. 1-year contract, with possibility of extension. 6000 RMB (about US$880) per month. Free housing. If the teachers work for more than one year, increment of 500 RMB per month. 86 hours of work per month. Overtime at 80 RMB an hour. Wednesday to Sunday. One-way air ticket for the return journey will be covered if the contract terms are completed.
The city can be reached via a two-hour plane ride from Beijing. The nearest big city is Harbin, 4 hours by car/bus.
