FREELANCE/PART-TIME ESL SUMMER TEACHING  POSITION AT NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY:

Northwestern University is seeking a highly qualified freelance/part-time instructor for a daytime summer ESL adjunct position in the International Summer Institute, which runs July 20 1-August 28, 2009 on NU's Evanston campus.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. MA or PhD in TESOL or Linguistics

2. Experience in teaching ESL or English to adult intermediate to advanced learners

3. Names and contact information of references

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Trained to rate ETS's SPEAK test

2. Familiar with the Proficiency in Oral English Communication (POEC) assessment tool

Please note that this is a part-time position that will not lead to full-time employment. Payment is made after completion of the course.
