Shirley DeMichele's (College of Lake County) presentation from the 2013 ITBE Convention
has been selected as a Best of Affiliates session at the TESOL 2014 International Convention and English Language Expo in Portland, Oregon USA. The convention is being held 26-29 March 2014.

Session Title: “ESL Conversation Activities: A Few of Our Favorite Things!“
Session abstract: Do you want lively conversation ideas to supplement your class topic themes? These conversation activities will focus on accommodating different learning styles within the classroom. Workshop participants will also brainstorm conversation lesson plans and be involved in a group exchange of ideas.

Patrick T. Randolph published “The Key to Successful Language Learning: Physical Exercise in The ELL Classroom” in the Fall/Winter ARKTESOL Post and “Creative Writing in the ESL Classroom: Exploring Emotions and Critical Thinking through Fiction” in the fall issue of the TESOL IEPIS Newsletter.
