Paul McPherron and Patrick T. Randolph’s book, Cat Got Your Tongue? (http://www.tesol.org/BookLanding?productID=196) was published by TESOL Press. They wish to thank all those ITBE instructors who helped in different stages of the book. The work has already received excellent reviews by scholars and teachers in the profession.

Michael Gilmore, lecturer at SIU-Carbondale and ITBE member, has published a lesson plan in the recent idioms book by McPherron & Randolph called Cat Got Your Tongue? Teaching Idioms to English Learners (TESOL Press, 2014). This lesson plan has also been featured by the authors at recent conferences in the States.

Patrick T. Randolph’s presentation from the 2013 MITESOL (Michigan TESOL) Conference has been selected to represent the state of Michigan for the “Best of the TESOL Affiliates” at the TESOL 2015 International Convention and English Language Expo in Toronto, Canada. Randolph’s presentation was voted the best of the 67 presentations at the conference. Each year the top 15 presentations (out of 106 affiliates) are nominated, and the best 7 are selected for International TESOL.
