Illinois TESOL-Bilingual Education (ITBE) invites professionals, students, and anyone involved with English Language Learners to submit proposals for academic presentation at the 2026 annual convention. This year’s theme is Equity, Access, and Innovation: Teaching Multilingual Learners in a Tech-Transformed Landscape

Proposals Accepted through December 8, 2025
Presenters and attendees are encouraged to expand their skill sets as they envision the future of multilingual education. We are accepting proposals that address all things related to TESOL. As educators, we impact the lives of so many students. What we do matters! ITBE is looking for proposals on a plethora of topics and content areas that address issues all across the field. We invite proposals related to all aspects of ESL/ EAP/ IEP/ CALL/ EFL, best practices for instruction, materials development, program administration, teacher training, research and professional development as well as implications for equity and advocacy in language education. Share your knowledge and expertise with our ITBE community. Below is the link to submit a proposal. Submissions will be accepted now through December 8, 2025.
