2022 Fall Virtual Workshop "All Things TESOL!"  

Illinois Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages/Bilingual Education (ITBE) is excited to 2022 Fall Virtual Workshop on October 15th, 2022. This year's theme is  All Things TESOL. 

Join our keynote speaker Dr. Debra Suarez, a noted TESOL leader, as she unpacks core tenets of Transformational Leadership theory with a focus on the components of “inspirational motivation” and “idealized influence" with her presentation 

Featured speaker Dr. Ayanna Cooper is an educational consultant and advocate for the culturally and linguistically diverse learners and will be discussing how multilingual students bring rich cultural and linguistic diversity to their school communities. 

Our virtual workshop opens at 8:30 am with a Meet and Greet, and will conclude at 4:00 pm after a wrap-up and raffle gathering. We will also be featuring SIG meetings between 12:10 and 12:40.  Professional Development Hours will be based on individual attendance, which will be collected in every session.
